Meet the Owner

Chef Rachel's journey is one of passion, purpose, and plant-based goodness. Each dish is part of her love letter to Denver's vegan community. Welcome to her dream in motion. 

My Story

"My passion for food started at the age of seven. I would spend my summers watching the chefs on PBS and would then take my experiments to the kitchen where my parents allowed me to explore my creative recipes. When I was 15 I entered what would be my life long career in the restaurant industry. My experience started as a server and I quickly learned all positions. With much hands-on learning and using my own intuition I became confident experimenting with my own twist on flavors and fusion. With the help of others I learned so much over the years with an emphasis on farm to table. I went to Oregon as a private chef and decided that I wanted to work for myself where I could utilize my skills and talents to create what I wanted and to have the freedom to choose my own schedule and dedicate my menu to my other passion, veganism! My journey to becoming vegan started at the age of 11 when I gave up eating beef and pork. I slowly started removing more animal products from my diet and each time I felt better and better until I became completely vegan at the age of 29. I studied Integrative Nutrition with an emphasis on vegan nutrition and graduated with a health coaching degree. I just wasn’t happy working remotely with my clients so having my own food truck gave me the opportunity to feel more social and reach a larger audience. Moving to Denver gave me the right opportunity to feel confident about having enough people who would appreciate the vegan lifestyle. I love the vegan community that Denver has to offer and I am excited to continue to expand the rotating menu and audience." -Chef Rachel
